Leaked Images Of The New Tamron 17-70mm APS-C Sony E-Mount Lens

If theres one thing Sony mirrorless camera users cant complain about, it’s a lack of lenses. With the development of its APS-C cameras, Sony made the wise (and consumer friendly) decision to use the same mount for its full frame lenses as well as its APS-C lenses (and if the rumors are true, it looks like canon will be following suite in 2021).

And here we are, a new week, a new Nokishita leak. It looks like Tamron will grace us with a new Sony E-Mount lens – specifically a Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD lens. Theres not a lot of information out there, but from the name alone we can see that the new Tamron lens will come with a built in image stabiliser (VC).

Theres no word yet on price or release date, but we can safely assume that the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD lens will be released around early 2021.
