Our favorite leaker Nokishita has reported that Voigtländer ist planning on presenting the new Super Nokton 29mm f0.8 Aspherical on the 10th of December 2020. Rumor has it that it will be a micro four thirds lens, and will be priced at $2000.
Turns out that Nokishita was half right – as Voigtländer decided to announce its new Micro Four Thirds Lends – the Super Nokton 29mm f/0.8 Aspherical today.

With its f0.8, the new Voigtländer clearly stands out from the crowd and the manufacturer promises smooth bokeh and uniform sharpness right up into the edge areas.
The viewing angle of the new lens is 42.75 °, so it is close to that of a 58mm full-frame lens. It has minimum shooting distance of 0.37m and a focal length of 29mm.
The new Voigtländer features a stepless aperture ring, making it ideal for videography. The Super Nokton weighs 703 grams and has a filter size of 62mm.
